I guess you can probably tell that July was a little busy for us!?! It seems like every weekend we had something going on. We spend fourth of July with Alex's friends from school in Benecia where we watched fireworks over the bay - that was pretty awesome. One of my coworkers had her wedding the next day so we went to the reception and Alex was able to meet many of my work friends. Than the next weekend we drove back to Fresno for my birthday. The next weekend our close friends Lynae & Andrew came up from Fresno to visit us, and we were able to get in some wine tasting together. To top that, I had a week of vacation from work (7/23 to 7/29) so I decided to go home and spend time with family which turned out to be one of my best vacations ever. Its so nice to come home from a vacation and feel well rested and ready to start again, which is exactly how I feel this week.
Alex is finishing his summer MPH classes next week and starts his regular Med School classes the next. I know its going to be a lot more work for him, but we are both really looking forward to his schedule being similar to mine starting next month.
